I lost my passport in UK...What should I do tell me PLEASE ? I dont know what to do?

hey..i am a student. and in my 1st year..I hadto takeit with me coz i wanted to go for a club and now its not with me when I check my pocket !

.What should I do..Its 12 midnight now..pls tell me..I am shocked & i want to kill my self now

Losing your passport is stupid but not something worth killing yourself over, hysterics aren't useful at this time & won't help you find it any faster



Contact the club or any other pub or nightclub you visited to see if it was handed in



In the meantime, ring your Embassy or check their website to see what you need to do to declare your passport lost or stolen - they will probably require a report from the police



Also ring the UK Border Agency on Monday to ask for their advice - tell them you've lost your passport, find out if there's some temporary cover letter they can give you while you wait on your new passport



Invest in some alternative ID - if your University student card doesn't show your Date of Birth, apply for an ISIC card. It has your date of birth & picture, you could also ask at the student union about it - it costs about £11
