Question:
What is the politically correct term for black citizens of the UK?

In USA, while the term "black" is not offensive, the politically correct term for blacks is "African Americans." What is the politically correct term in Britain? African British? Is there a term to refer to black people living anywhere in the UK? Also, what is your politically correct term for people of Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, or Native American descent? What if the person was white, but was born and raised in Africa, and then immigrated to Wales?

In my personal opinion, the correct way to label would be "Kenyan American," "Italian German," "Vietnamese Scottish," "English Japanese," "Polish Russian," "Papua New Guinean Mexican," etc. But clearly that's not the way it's officially done.

People. The term West Indian was used because of an influx of immigrants from this region whose more distant ancestors were African. There were still dark skinned people coming direct from Africa and from India and Pakistan. It should be noted that every human on this planet is of African descent, some more recently than others.

Yeah in Scotland (where I am from) your either just Black or White. I dont think we really label people from where the come from. I have never heard anyone say Vietnamese Scottish or any other variation of that.

"Black" seems to be perfectly acceptable to black people. On ethnic monitoring questionnaires, the category used is "Black British". Asians are Asians. The other categories you mention don't really feature much here in the UK (certainly not Native American!) I get the general impression that the UK isn't anywhere near as hung up about this as the USA.

Black British is a term used in Britain merely as a category in UK national statistics ethnicity classifications. Otherwise, over there, they are also called British.

Africans, but you may mention English or British if it's needed to be known. If you know more about the people you are referring to you can say Kenyan or Nigerian...

I think blonde hair is actually sexiest, but brown hair can end up being really sexy too. Black hair is never sexy. It's just really uninteresting and boring and flatters few constitution. Blonde hair looks best with azure eyes.

Citizen, because colour should not come into it. Can you imagine if it went further than it has, when you introduce yourself it would be: Hi i am a black Hispanic Jew that is Obese short fat and Ugly that wears glasses. where will it all end.

Just Citizen and if pushed further you can add Human.
